Stana stars as Kate Beckett alongside Nathan Fillion (Firefly) in ABC's newest romantic comedy series "Castle". "Castle" circles around the lives of a crime-thriller novelist Nick Castle (Fillion) suffering writer's block and a young, Type-A New York detective Kate Beckett (Katic). The two are thrust together when a series of copy-cat murders mimic Nick's novels. The ensuing witty rapport reveal a clashing of minds and an attraction of spirit that result in Beckett becoming Castle's unwilling new muse. "Castle" will begin airing early '09.

Stana Katic costars as Morgenstern with Gabriel Macht, Scarlett Joh1ansson, and Sam Jackson in Frank Miller's (Sin City, 300) new classic comic film "The Spirit". The film explores the legendary comic hero Spirit's (Macht) history, pinning our hero in a battle against the evil doctor Octopus (Jackson). Katic's quirky character joins the Spirit to save the day with a bit of spicy savoir-faire. The film opens in theatres December 25, 2008.
Stana also completed principal photography as Corinne Veneau opposite Daniel Craig in the newest Bond film "Quantum of Solace". Set against an international backdrop and directed by Marc Forester (Kiterunner, Monster's Ball), the film is set for release in November of '08.

Ms. Katic wrapped on the third addition to the popular "Librarian" series. Katic stars opposite Noah Wyle (ER, Swingkids) on this TNT epic. Produced by Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot) of Electric Entertainment, Katic plays a 403 year old sultry, French vampire Simone Renoir who helps the Librarian Flynn (Wyle) save humanity from the grip of cursed cataclysm. Love is in the air in this swashbuckling tale that pays homage to a sweet and mysterious New Orleans history. The picture will air December 7, 2008 on TNT.

To be released in 2009, "Stiletto". Stana stars as a Russian assassin whose seemingly random hits puzzle her once-lover only to unfold into the tragic story of an avenging angel. Tom Berenger, Tom Sizemore, Diane Venora, William Forsythe, Michael Beihn and a whole slew of Hollywood prodigal sons also star.
